We’re excited to welcome our FVCDC families back for one of our most anticipated events of the year, the annual FVCDC Family Picnic, happening on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Mill Lake Park in Abbotsford.
This free event is our way of saying thank you to the families we work with and support throughout the year. It’s a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy some summer fun together in a safe and welcoming environment.
What to Expect at This Year’s Picnic
From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the Bevan Avenue side of Mill Lake Park will be buzzing with laughter, play, and plenty of family-friendly activities. The picnic includes:

A complimentary lunch for all registered FVCDC families

Games and interactive stations for children of all ages

Face painting, outdoor play areas, and shaded spots for parents to unwind

Opportunities to connect with FVCDC staff and other families in the community
This event is designed exclusively for families currently receiving services through the Fraser Valley Child Development Centre. It’s not open to the public, but we encourage all eligible families to attend and bring their smiles, sunscreen, and picnic spirit.
