“This partnership will enable us to raise awareness of the FVCDC and encourage families to reach out early for support,” said Karen Dickenson Smith, executive director, Fraser Valley Child Development Centre. “It is part of our shared commitment to healthy, inclusive communities.”
The two organizations launched a series of articles in The Patrika overviewing the FVCDC’s services and ways families can get help with their questions or concerns about their child’s development.
Patrika Media Ltd, established almost two decades ago, dedicated themselves to becoming North America’s first Punjabi-English newspaper, and still holds membership in the exclusive “club” of less than 100 truly bilingual newspapers in the world today.
The Fraser Valley Child Development Centre’s vision is a world where all people are welcomed to participate meaningfully in family and community life. We give children the tools for individual success and help families and caregivers better understand their child’s growth, development and learning, and strengthen community inclusion.
