Accessibility

The Fraser Valley Child Development Centre, as a CARF – accredited organization, is dedicated to promoting accessibility and the removal of barriers for families, consumers, employees, and stakeholders.

Our organization is committed to addressing accessibility issues in order to:

  • Enhance the quality of life for those served in both programming and services.
  • Implement nondiscriminatory employment practices.
  • Meet legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Meet the expectations of stakeholders in the area of accessibility.

As such, the development of a yearly Accessibility Report seeks to address and outline goals towards the eventual removal of identified barriers that interfere with service accessibility. Possible examples of identified barriers may include attitudinal, architectural, financial, communication, employment, transportation, and environmental areas.

Input and feedback are critically important in helping us identify potential barriers to services. As such, we value and appreciate the information we receive from the families we serve, FVCDC staff and our stakeholders.
