Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy for School-Aged Children

For school-aged children with physical or developmental delays, our physical therapists and occupational therapists provide services in school settings or at specialized clinics. These services are accessed through the school-based team.

Our therapists work closely with teaching assistants and teachers to maximize the child’s level of participation within a classroom setting. Our goal is to help the child function to the best of their abilities.

Services include

  • Consultation to parents, teaching assistants, and teachers
  • Seating and positioning clinics.

Funding is provided partially from the Ministry for Children and Family Development and the Ministry of Education.
