Play is the most important activity in the lifes of children; we could say it is the occupation of childhood. Through play children develop an understanding of the world around them. In fact, play activities provide the foundation upon which later reading, writing and mathematical skills are built. Interacting with your child through positive, supportive play helps your child feel valued, strengthens your relationship, and gives him/her confidence to build healthy and loving relationships with others.
