In managing the administrative needs of the Association, all members of the Executive Committee will prepare planning and administrative policy statements for the executive function,
and have signing authority for the BCACDI bank account . They will also undertake the following specific duties:
President:
- act as the main representative of the BCACDI in all activities of the Association
- lobby the appropriate government ministries on behalf of BCACDI member agencies and their clients. The unified delivery of the Association's stand on an issue is of paramount importance. The President should strive for excellence in this area.
- facilitate meetings of the Association according to Article III (Meetings of Members) and Article IV (Proceedings at Meetings) of the BCACDI constitution
- review the performance of the Provincial Advisor annually and ensure contracts are updated and signed each year
Vice President:
- assist the President whenever possible
- be suitably trained to take over the Presidency of the BCACDI if the President is unable to perform his/her duties
- act as an alternative Chair of Meetings if the President is unable to attend
Secretary:
- record minutes and attendance at meetings
- ensure the distribution of Minutes and meeting notices to all members of the BCACDI
- keep all records and documents of the BCACDI
- perform any other tasks as required to organize meetings/circulate information
Treasurer:
- keep the books of the Association according to current accounting practices
- keep track of the travel pool and ensure that all members are billed after every meeting
- bill all members the appropriate membership dues annually
- ensure that all members pay all membership dues, travel pool and any other adjustments approved by the Board
- pay all monies directly into the BCACDI bank account and pay all bills as soon as they are invoiced
- render annual financial statements to all members
- prepare budgets, cash flows and other reports as required by the Executive Committee
- keep the receipts, invoices ad bank statements of the Association

In managing the advocacy needs of the Association, the Advocacy Committee will undertake the following duties:
- prepare planning and administrative policy statements for the Advocacy function
- maintain regular Advocacy with members
- develop and maintain advocacy information kits and other Advocacy materials or means

In managing the financial needs of the Association, the Finance Committee will undertake the following duties:
- prepare planning and administrative policy statements for the Finance function
- liaise with member organizations to coordinate activities to raise funds for the provincial association
- apply for and obtain any required licenses, permits or contracts
- develop annual budgets and review operational and project costs on a regular basis

In managing the communication needs of the Association, the Communications Committee will undertake the following duties:
- prepare planning and administrative policy statements for the communications function
- maintain regular communications with members
- develop and maintain profiles of member agencies
- develop and maintain up-to-date manuals, brochures, and other communications materials or means
- ensure timely receipt of agendas and minutes
